Resource Peer Mentors

Resource Peer Mentors (RPM's), formally Recruitment Peer Mentors, are foster parents that have already been through the process and either have or are currently fostering or providing kinship care.  RPM's fill a very important role in providing support for our families that are considering, or are fostering.

Resource Peer Mentors can help:

  • Answer your questions about fostering (you can also browse our FAQ's here).
  • Help you with specific issues and concerns you may have about the process involved in becoming licensed.
  • Connect you with community resources.
  • Connect you with other families that are also in the process of becoming licensed to foster or are fostering.

Once you have expressed interest in fostering a Resource Peer Mentor (RPM) will be assigned to you to assist in your journey.
