Income-Based Repayment and Public Service Loan Forgiveness
Are you interested in more affordable student loan payments, or loan forgiveness for public service?
Income-Based Repayment (IBR) is a new way to make your federal student loan payments more manageable, starting July 2009.
Also, if you work in government or nonprofit organizations for 10 years (starting October 2007), you may qualify for a new type of public service loan forgiveness.
